Dropping in to my place

 Jan 4, 2016

Anyone who drops into my place takes their chances on being immortalized. Generally in pen or pencil but yesterday, it was different.

A friend came in and here she is in charcoal. It's not completed because she snapped this of me showing her where the drawing was headed then she
dragged me out for dinner.

I don't use charcoal much but I really enjoyed doing this. I think I'll do more of them in charcoal. Each piece of vine charcoal has a distinctive feel when I move it across the page. So it's surprise every time!

Still we had fun and I have this very quick sketch of an especially dear friend.
